 ICANN, the top level body responsibility for the international
domain name system has given the go ahead to roll out extension of the domain name system.
In practical terms this means the green light has been given for many new top level domains and domain
names in languages previously unrepresented. It's expected there will be dozens, if not hundreds of new gTLD
domain applications in both Latin and international language sets.
